Carol Rooney, Sales Representative/Team Leader

Quite simply, Carol loves what she does for a living as a real estate sales professional and takes great satisfaction in being able to surprise and delight her clients with her professionalism, expertise, high standard of client service and results.

Carol’s driving motivation is to help make the real estate selling and buying process as enjoyable as possible for clients, to provide clients with expert advice grounded in her many years of experience and to ultimately get the result that they are looking for-a home sold for the best possible price or a home purchased, with as many wants and needs fulfilled as possible, in the ideal community and neighbourhood.

Carol’s passion for sales and client service took root in the early 1990’s during an early career as a sales woman in a high end men’s clothing store in Toronto catering to Bay Street business professionals. Carol established herself as a successful business woman in this male dominated profession, delighted in her ability to provide valuable advice and learned the value of exceptional customer service.  Carol’s love of Real Estate was ignited some years later as she went through the process of buying and renovating a Beach’s investment property. Her early online search for information led to a desire to learn more and ultimately a realization that Real Estate sales was an area where she could combine and apply her interest, passion and skills.

In 2005, after several years working as a supply teacher and an EA for children with special needs, Carol began a new career in Real Estate.  Carol sold her first home on her second day as a licensed Real Estate Sales Representative and since then has won numerous sales awards as a result of her passion, approach, style and genuine interest in helping her clients achieve their desires and dreams.

Carol is a member of a number of professional associations and networking groups.  Through her active memberships she has become affiliated with a network of home stagers, mortgage specialists, home inspectors, cleaners, and local contractors who have become invaluable resources for her clients.

Carol is committed to ensuring that her clients have the information they need to make wise and objective decisions and takes pride in her ability to provide advice and guidance, grounded in her many years of experience,  wherever needed. Her views on Real Estate have been published in Durham Region’s SNAP Ajax as well as a book titled Common Sense Mentors: Family Edition.  Her essay within the book focuses on the theme of “Love Where You Live!”

Carol Rooney’s passion and expertise are focused on her clients and their interests.  She wants you to enjoy the experience of home ownership and to find a home and a neighbourhood that is right for you!

Maureen Borg, Sale Representative/Team Associate

Maureen grew up with a father whose passion lived in home renovation and construction. His legacy has influenced her family to follow his lead, supporting people in achieving what could be considered their proudest moment – buying a home. When you work with Maureen, you are in the capable hands of her truly authentic and well rounded network.

Maureen is recognized throughout the Durham community for her charismatic personality, her keen eye for detail and commitment to exceed expectations. With more than 25 years experience in client services, Maureen has a reputation for building long lasting relationships and playing a significant role in improving the lives of families across the region. Maureen is family focused, and she empathizes with the stresses and excitement that come with life’s major milestones. Her character embodies a rare level of support and comfort that eases her clients through the home buying/selling process.

Kelly Morton, Business Development Coordinator

Kelly brings over 20 years of experience as a Patent & Trademark Clerk in a law firm to her role as Business Development Coordinator for the Migration Team. A strong planner and great people person, Kelly uses her exceptional organizational skills and her eye for detail to manage schedules, coordinate showings, facilitate the flow of documents and signings and support the team in marketing and business development activities. An active Mom of 3 young girls, Kelly enjoys hockey, skiing and cottage life outside of the office. Inside the office, she likes taking on new challenges and loves the fast pace and great working dynamic of the Migration Team!

Corry Campbell, Sales Assistant

Corry fills an important role on the Migration Team in her role as sales assistant. A strong communicator, she helps market new listings by directly contacting other Realtors® within the broad Migration Team network and she supports the sales process by following up with Realtors® who have shown Migration Team listed properties. Corry provides valuable feedback that helps the team make adjustments and maximize returns for clients. Corry also supports the team at Open House events, greeting guests, managing registration, and helping with buyer flow through the home. Passionate about Real Estate, Corry , a former rental property owner, enjoys renovating, building and staging properties. Outside of the office, Corry enjoys time at the cottage, playing guitar, swimming, skiing and spending time with her three children and one grandchild.
